Review:

REBEL MOON – Part One: A Child of Fire is a visually stunning and action-packed epic that will delight readers of fantasy and science fiction. The film is set in a vast and expansive universe, and Snyder does an excellent job of bringing it to life with his signature visual style. The film’s special effects are top-notch, and the action sequences are genuinely breathtaking.

The story follows Kora, a stranger with a mysterious past who crash lands on a moon in the furthest reaches of the universe. She soon becomes the only hope for survival for the peaceful settlement of farmers on the moon when the tyrannical Regent Balisarius threatens them.

Boutella is a fantastic Kora, bringing a great deal of nuance and passion to the part. The supporting cast is also strong, with Fra Fee, Ed Skrein, Cleopatra Coleman, and Ray Fisher all delivering memorable performances.

Snyder’s direction is superb, and he keeps the film moving at a brisk pace. The action sequences are well-choreographed and executed, and the film’s visual effects are awe-inspiring.

For lovers of fantasy and science fiction, REBEL MOON – Part One: A Child of Fire is an absolute must-see. It is an epic film with stunning visuals, breathtaking action sequences, and a strong story.
